Can A Realtor Show Me Any House On The Property Market?
This is a fairly common question asked by first time home buyers in their initial property market search. Some are under the misconception that an agent is limited to only show properties he or she has listed. A Realtor has access to their local Multi-list and all the homes in it! A resourceful real estate agent uses all available Realtor tools when assisting a buyer. He/she can implement a search in a buyer’s preferred area putting in other criteria like maximum purchase price, and specific home features.
Your Realtor should also be able to give sound advice on real estate financing and point you in the direction of a qualified lender. Once you have formed a relationship with a Realtor, it is best to use that person as your sole representative. So, when driving around town browsing the local real estate market, jot down the addresses and research online or have your Realtor schedule a showing! In fact, we often inform buyers that have decided to work with one of our agents, to be sure to disclose to other Realtors that they are being represented by an agent. After all, we are dedicated to our buyers and sellers at Straub & Associates and have their best interests in mind!
